In response to changes in consumer
transaction types, CPC has introduced
contactless payments, Near-Field
Communications (NFC), at its gas stations
since June 2018. In addition, to further
optimize mobile payment services and
enhance VIP member loyalty, CPC launched
its own payment tool, CPC Pay, on November
12, 2019. CPC Pay is the first payment app in
the domestic market specifically designed for
use at gas stations. It integrates credit card
and mobile Easy-Card payment functions,
membership services, marketing offers, and
other diverse features, such as vehicle-related
services, including parking lot searches, gas station searches, fuel price inquiries, and eTag toll inquiries. This makes it convenient for customers to quickly access various types of information. Since launching the CPC Pay service, CPC has continuously optimized system functions and organized various marketing activities to enhance customer convenience and experience, with the goal of making itself the top brand in customer minds.
In 2023, CPC was awarded the highest honor, the Platinum Award, in the Gas Station category of the Reader’s Digest’s Trusted Brand awards. Additionally, CPC submitted nine gas stations for the Ministry of Environment’s 2023 Excellent Public Restroom Evaluation, all of which received Excellent Public Restroom awards in the Gas Station category. Among them, the Chishang Gas Station was honored with the Special Features Public Restroom Award, and earning high recognition.
To align with the government’s mobile payment policy, customers have been able to use six third-party payment services for e-payment transactions at the full-service areas of CPC gas stations since July 15, 2020: LINE Pay, iPASS MONEY, Pi Mobile Wallet, JKOPay, O’Pay, and GAMA PAY. Additionally, starting from March 31, 2021, Taiwan Pay (debit card/debit account only) became available, followed by the introduction of Autopass payment services on February 15, 2023. By expanding support for diverse payment services, CPC aims to provide consumers with a more convenient experience.
