     • Responding to the trends of the IoT, cloud services and mobile applications, CPC has built a company-wide optical fiber infrastructure, integrating audio and multimedia communication services. • Continuously updating equipment and optimizing off-site backup mechanisms to ensure business continuity. • Adopted cloud computing and established a virtual server operating environment to build a hybrid cloud service structure that combines private and public clouds. • Applications manage and visualize CPC’s key operational data, enhancing data inventory and integration to ensure reliable data for informed decision-making, and established a foundation for cross-unit and cross-dataset big data analytics. • Gradually introduced AI into various business fields by extracting features from historical data and establishing intelligent models for real-time monitoring and future scenario prediction, to achieve goals such as efficiency, safety and environmental protection. • Integrated generative AI technology with business information systems, enhancing the automation and accuracy of workflows, and strengthening customer service. Cybersecurity: • Established a Security Operation Center (SOC), deploying intrusion detection and defense system, anti-virus security mechanism, Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) defense for emails and websites, email filtering, website application firewalls, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools to strengthen the cybersecurity of the overall information environment. • Conducts regular security inspections, firewall policy reviews, cybersecurity health checks, scanning and patching of vulnerabilities in personal computers and servers, and organizes red team exercises to evaluate the comprehensiveness of cybersecurity and the information and communication systems. • To follow the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) principle, CPC regularly conducts business continuity and cybersecurity exercises, conforms with ISO 27001 (information security management systems) third-party certification, and conducts internal cybersecurity audits and on-site cybersecurity audits for contractors. • Introduced two-factor authentication and behavioral analysis for identity protection to enhance the security of personal identities and user accounts. The company has also established a cybersecurity risk management system that examines the risk exposure of CPC, contractors, and suppliers on the Internet. • Enhanced the security and protection of the industrial control system to ensure that Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) is operating correctly. 5G AIoT Application and Development AI is developing rapidly, and the technologies used in image recognition, language processing and predictive analysis are becoming more mature. CPC has also followed the trend and established the 5G AIoT Promotion Office to introduce advanced AI technology, promote effective AI projects and match high-quality vendors, applying AI in four major areas: smart workplace safety, equipment failure prediction, environmental protection, energy saving and carbon reduction, and business management applications, in order to reduce unexpected equipment failure rates and occupational safety risks and improve production, storage, transportation and sales efficiency. Representative applications include: • Power Supply Diagnostic System: Effectively estimates the remaining life of power supply and detects possible signs of failure in advance, allowing for timely maintenance or replacement to avoid system downtime, data loss, or equipment damage. • Motor current spectrum image recognition application: Identify the cause of equipment abnormalities based on the current spectrum image characteristics. • Real-time notification of abnormal hazards: Through image recognition, the factory’s image data can be analyzed to identify unsafe behaviors or conditions and report them in real time. • Electronic Fence System: When the system detects unauthorized persons, equipment or vehicles entering the restricted area, it will immediately notify the management personnel and activate the early warning system. • Underground long-distance pipeline leak detection system: Detect and determine whether the pipeline is leaking by using AI models to analyze the status of pipelines. • Drone AI-assisted inspection technology: Using “AI image recognition & drone aerial photography” technology, any abnormal conditions of solar panels can be efficiently identified. / Information Management      43
