CPC has established the Sustainable Operations Promotion Committee as the core unit to promote corporate sustainability since 2005. The Chairman of the Board serves as the Chairman of the Committee, and the President serves as the Vice Chairman of the Committee. Apart from the Chairman and Vice Chairman, the Committee also consists of experts and scholars outside CPC as committee members. Together with all members, the Committee reviews sustainability topics relevant to CPC operations, and issues that stakeholders are concerned about.
To take tangible action in our sustainability operations and to continue to create value for stakeholders, the Committee assembles task forces. The task forces are responsible for the monitoring of the progress of various sustainability projects and adjusting their implementation. In addition, each task force is formed by members of departments in CPC, effectively integrating resources and fully implementing sustainability strategies and action plans into each department of CPC.
In 2023, the Sustainable Operations Promotion Committee held three meetings and discussed various sustainability proposals. The President reports progress toward sustainable development and sustainability performance to the Board of Directors as necessary.

◆ Received 11 main awards from the 20th National Brand Yushan Award, including the highest honor, First Prize in “Outstanding Enterprise” category and 10 other awards.
◆ Domestic and international Sustainability Awards
• The Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability Awards (ACES) - Top Community Centric Companies in Asia.
• The Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) - the Corporate Sustainability Reporting, Investment in People and
Responsible Business Leadership awards.
• The Global Corporate Sustainability Awards (GCSA) - 2 Best Practice awards.
• The Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA) - the Outstanding Sustainability Professionals Awards, the Most
Prestigious Sustainability Awards - Top 100 Domestic Corporates, and the Sustainability Report Award (Chinese) -
Energy Industry Category I Gold Award.
• Furthermore, the corporation received five individual Best Performance in Specific Categories awards, which include the
Social Inclusion Leadership Award, the Gender Equality Leadership Award, the Talent Development Leadership Award,
the Innovation Growth Leadership Award, and the Creative Communication Leadership Award.
• The Sustainability Outstanding Awards by the British Standards Institution (BSI).
• The Asian - Pacific Sustainability Action Awards (APSAA), including three Taiwan Sustainability Action Awards (2 gold
awards and 1 bronze award), and four Asian-Pacific Sustainability Action Awards (1 gold award and 3 silver awards).

• Ministry of Economic Affairs Public Construction Golden Quality Award - The Third LNG Receiving Terminal Storage Tank EPC Project, The Taichung LNG Receiving Terminal Second Jetty and Reventment Turnkey Project, The No.28 Linyuan Petrochemical Plant Steam Boiler Unit Turnkey Project, The Affiliated Facilities For 12 Sets Oil Tank Of EPC Project For Zone 1 Of Talin Petrochemical Storage And Pipeline Center.
• The Public Construction Commission 23rd Public Construction Golden Quality Award - The Third LNG Receiving Terminal Storage Tank EPC Project.
◆ The 2023 Taiwan Biodiversity Awards (TWBA) Gold Prize.
◆ Gold Prize at the 16th Arts & Business Awards, awarded by the Ministry of Culture.
◆ Received the Activist Award in the Sponsorship Category – Gold Class, from the Sports Administration,

◆ CPC’s “Slow-Flying Angels with CPC” video was awarded the Bronze Prize for Sustainable Microfilm at the 7th
Taipei Golden Eagle Micro Movie-Festival.
